Echoes of Devotion is a music duo consisting of Rico and Frida – two musicians from different parts of Sweden, united by a shared language: music that conveys presence, sincerity, and connection to something greater. Echoes of Devotion was born from a mutual longing to create music that both reflects and awakens inner and outer landscapes.

Frida plays hang drum, South American flutes, percussion, and voice. Rico plays ngoni, calabash, handcrafted flutes, percussion, and uses a loop station and effect pedals to build sound worlds in real time.

Our inspiration comes from musical traditions across the world – West Africa, South America, the Middle East, and Northern Europe – weaving these soundscapes into stories that require no shared spoken language. The message is rooted in presence, healing, connection to the earth, and spiritual communion, aiming to share music that not only entertains, but also touches, heals, and connects.
